Director Shelagh Carter was interviewed this summer by Dr. Joyce Almeida of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, to feature Passionflower in its Minds on Film blog.
The full 20-minute interview is available at the RCP blog, along with an extensive analysis of the film from the perspective of the usefulness of the film for mental health professionals and educators.

The White Sands International Film Festival, in Las Cruces, New Mexico is the latest festival to select Passionflower to screen.
The film will screen twice:
Thursday September 5 at 2:30 pm
Friday September 6 at 8 pm
The film is eligible for the awards for Best Director, Best Feature and Audience Choice.
The Festival runs September 4-8. Lou Diamond Phillips will be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s Festival.

We are pleased to say that Passionflower is making its third appearance in Arizona, where organizers of the Jerome Indie Film and Music Festival have selected the film as its Canadian Spotlight.
The film will screen June 13 at 12pm. Tickets are now available at the Festival website.
Passionflower previously screened in Arizona at the Prescott and Sedona Festivals in August 2012 and February/March 2013 respectively. At the Prescott Film Festival, it won the Jury awards for Best Feature and Best Director.

From now until the end of June, residents of Manitoba and Saskatchewan can watch Passionflower on video-on-demand services on MTS and SaskTel.

The Sedona Film Festival, in beautiful Arizona, will be the site of the next screening of Passionflower, which continues in the second year of its festival run.
The film will screen twice:
Thursday February 28 at 6:15 pm in Harkins Theatre and
Saturday March 2 at 9 pm, also in Harkins Theatre.
The Director of Passionflower, Shelagh Carter, will be in attendance for both screenings.
The Festival, celebrating its 19th year, takes place February 23 to March 3.

We are pleased and proud to let you know that Passionflower has won the Audience Choice Award at the Anchorage International Film Festival (it was not screened in competition for other awards).
Our director Shelagh Carter was on hand for the festival, and had an amazing time!
